The majority of the works were  displayed in the FPAC art gallery. This event, held on December 8th, highlighted the great talent  created  by certain classes at Bowie, particularly for VCDMA majors. The exhibition included a fashion  show, as well as numerous artists presenting their one-of-a-kind works, resulting in an overall strong  display. Speakers and artists shared insights into their work at the event, allowing us to connect with  their personal journeys as graduating seniors.  This showcase, which ran from November 20, 2023, to  January 19, 2024, was an example to the creative prowess fostered at Bowie. Although I wish I could  return to the gallery to see more artwork, what I did see was certainly impressive. We work on de

They  served  light  refreshments and crumble cookies to us. The president had previously organized events,  which I had attended, but this one stood out as the best. It gave everyone a chance to show off their  skills, and both the youth and adults read their best poems to the group.  On Instagram, the Sociology  Club also shared a flyer that caught my interest. It was an impressive work of work, and the author,  known as The Convivial Artist, was credited. The typography was clear and unique, and the piece was  legible. I believe they created their artwork by hand using an Adobe app, such as Illustrator or  Photoshop etc.  During the Poetry Slam presentation, they featured another form of art from this creator  (shown below), which featured a book titled "Daisy Wrestles With Confiden

Adobe Gif

As I was looking through the content, I happened to come across a video, I realized it was a gif. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to add videos to my blog due to computer restrictions. However, the image below the video was, in fact, a gif, and I captured a screenshot of it. The smoke moving gracefully back and forth from the cup was gracefully moving back and forth. In this captivating video, the swirling smoke was the only element in motion. Moreover, it was created using generative recolor, a feature accessible through Adobe Express. The video itself lasted for 5 seconds, and it brought back memories of creating my very first gif using Photoshop earlier this year in class. Given the similarity of the image, I am inspired to recreate this gif and add

The Blvck Factor Part 2

D easia Craig VDCMA 230 (Computer Graphics) 2235880 December 8th, 2023 Blog 4 Location:  Baltimore, MD   Today, I assisted my friend Janae in creating a brand acronym for her brand, The Blvck Factor. We came up with "Breaking Limits To Value Creative Knowledge." Additionally, we discussed the various design applications she uses, with Canva being her preferred choice. However, I have more experience with Adobe products. I am currently in talks with her about helping her design items, and during our conversation, I experimented with Adobe to create a new design for shirts. Specifically, I utilized Adobe Illustrator, employing the text tool to incorporate different fonts in the wording. I also made use of the angle tool, adjusting the "factor" to about a 30-degree angle, give or take. For the art picture, I used Adobe Express Ai text-to-image to generate an image of a black bird. Within Adobe Express, I removed the background. Subsequently, in Illustrator, I uploaded

With that, we had to create our anatomical drawing showcasing the organs affected by our chosen disease. The first image I used was crafted using Adobe Express, where I created. A collage of three elements in the same way I did for the Afrofuturism project. Utilizing the text-to- image feature, I brought my envisioned concept to life. For the initial image, I instructed the AI to find. artwork depicting a woman as a breast cancer patient in a hospital. For the second image, I requested images of balloons, and for the last picture, I asked for breast cancer ribbons. I merged all the images by removing the background from the balloons, copying and pasting the ribbons throughout, and eliminating the background of the lady. This process erased the hospital settin
